ABOUT J.C. CANNISTRARO, LLC
J.C. Cannistraro, LLC is a family-owned, mechanical construction and design firm that provides Plumbing, HVAC, and Fire Protection for commercial and institutional projects. Founded in 1963 by John Cannistraro Sr., the company has grown into one of the areaıs largest companies of its kind. Today, J.C. Cannistraro, LLC has a workforce of more than 300 men and women, and performs projects of all sizes and scopes for building owners and constructions managers throughout New England.
In its second generation, J.C. Cannistraro, LLC now has four Cannistraro siblings in ownership roles. One of the companyıs biggest successes occurred when construction got underway at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA, home of the New England Patriots. In its 30,000 square foot, pre-fabrication facility, J.C. Cannistraro, LLC assembled the piping components for over 3,000 plumbing fixtures and installed more than 7,500 sprinkler heads. Examples of the companyıs large HVAC projects include new terminal construction at Bostonıs Logan Airport, as well as a 6,000 ton chilled-water plant for a new life-science building in Cambridge.
Through its advanced modeling capabilities, the company provides a new perspective on pre-construction with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Integrated Project Delivery. In 2008, J.C. Cannistraro, LLC celebrated its 45th anniversary and was awarded its largest project to date; Massachusetts General Hospitalıs Building for the Third Century. Most recently, the company welcomed The Plumbing Museum to its corporate headquarters in Watertown, and was named a finalist for Northeastern Universityıs Family Business Awards for two consecutive years.
